5月16日，第六屆“用英語講中國故事年夜會”廣東省專場活動在中山年夜學舉辦。來自全球31個國家和地區的近會所設計100名來華留學生齊聚一堂，密意講述他們與中國相遇、相知、配合成長的故事，向世界傳遞了真實、立體、周全的中國聲音。
據悉，本年夜賽從第二屆開始設來華留學生組，為了推動其學習中文，鼓勵他們應用中文參賽。第六屆設有年夜學生組、來華留學生大直室內設計組和養生住宅海內組，來華留學生組選手請求全部旅程應用非母語，優先應用中文進行各環節展現。
